On behalf of the Ontario CEC Board of Directors, I am pleased to extend an invitation for you to attend the 59th Annual Provincial Special Education Conference, which will be held November 13 – 14, 2015 at the Marriott Gateway in Niagara Falls.
The theme of the 2015 Conference is on student mental health and well-being; presentations will focus on evidence-based practices, instructional strategies, and technology to support the wellbeing, learning and achievement of all students with special education needs. The conference program features more than 70 lecture and poster presentations in numerous topical areas, including mental health, at-risk children & youth, autism, assistive technology (hands-on training lab), behavioural disorders, learning disabilities, low incidence exceptionalities, differentiated instruction, assessment and instructional strategies.
Conference registration includes the opening keynote address, breakout and poster presentations, the Exhibitor/Publisher Display and breakfast and lunch both days. Special conference rates apply for CEC members and full-time University & College students.
