LDA Hamilton-Halton and LDA York Region are pleased to invite you to a special Learning Disability/ADHD Support Workshop. This will be a province-wide event for all of the LDA Chapters.
This workshop is designed to help students, parents, educators and professionals navigate this tumultuous back-to-school season. It will be informative while also giving you the chance to ask your questions directly to your school board staff and representatives.
Time/Date: Tuesday, September 22nd, 2020, 6:30 to 9:00, virtually on Zoom.
Session 1: Choice of one of three breakout sessions of parent-focused workshops from experts on
- anxiety reduction
- organizational skills for students, and
- collaborative parent advocacy skills.
Session 2: Moderated Q&A session on the return to school process with senior staff from each school board and/or SEAC representatives.
This workshop is a unique opportunity to engage with experts and school board staff on the issues that matter to you. As the organization representing the largest group of students with disabilities, we want your voices to be heard at this critical time.
