This workshop explores possible stressors related to change and transitions for children and adolescents with Learning Disabilities and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). We may explore various types of transitions from those associated with daily life, to seasonal changes such as summer vacation, to life transitions such as starting high school or post-secondary school. We will explore different strategies to help ease tensions and prepare individuals and systems to respond and to accommodate to change for successful outcomes.
