Help Justice for Children & Youth create new resources on accessing special education
Justice for Children and Youth (JFCY) is excited to announce their newest initiative, Enhancing Access to Special Education (EASE).
“We recognize that navigating different special education processes can be challenging, and it can often feel like you are alone on the journey. EASE is working to develop accessible resources to support students with special education needs and their families in navigating special education processes.
We are asking students, their families, educators, and community supports/organizations to share their experience and expertise with us. This will make sure that the resources we develop are accessible, student-and family-friendly, and address the challenges that are identified in navigating special education processes.”
You can get involved by:
- Completing a confidential online survey about your experiences at https://jfcy.org/en/specialeducation
- Participating in a virtual, small group discussion (sign up via our website, or email lalonde@lao.on.ca)
- Sharing your experiences directly via email to lalonde@lao.on.ca
