Lynn Ziraldo honoured

Lynn Ziraldo, Executive Director of LDA York Region, was presented with the Advocacy Award at the conference of the Ontario Association of Children’s Rehabilitation Services (OACRS) in early November. The Advocacy Award recognizes contributions that impact quality of life for children and youth with disabilities and their families.  As well as her position with the York Region chapter, Lynn is on committees at LDA Ontario and has served on several advisory committees at the Ministry of Education, including the Minister’s Advisory Council on Special Education (MACSE). In her spare time she presents to Special Education Advisory Committees (SEACs) around Ontario, and enjoys being a Nona.
